Custom home renovation starts with a conversation to understand your vision and needs. We'll assess your pain points to best understand your goals and develop solutions. Over the course of this conversation, we'll determine mutually if Payne & Tompkins Design - Renovations is the best fit for your project. Finally, we'll conduct a budget discovery for your remodeling project.
To kick off the design process, we'll review your floor plan options to determine a general plan. Our certified and experienced design professionals will develop 3D renderings of the space to help visualize the proposed enhancements. Next, we will provide a preliminary proposal and scope of work.
With the design agreement in hand, we'll collaborate to select all of the materials for your project as well as the plumbing, lighting, and accessories at our industry-leading design center. Meanwhile, our Project Development Team will be working to secure any necessary approvals and permits so we can begin as soon as your design is complete.
At this point, your construction schedule will be created in great detail. We'll begin with the demolition of your space, construct the framing, install the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Next will be drywall and install flooring. The cabinetry will be installed along with tile and countertops. Finally, the details such as light fixtures and cabinet hardware will be installed.
After a thorough walkthrough and cleaning, it will be time to move back into your space!
